Some call it Sacred Activism, others use the term Spiritual Activism, while some prefer to refer to it as the « Path of Wholesome Action » (amal saleh). Regardless of the words we choose for it, sacred activism is the integration of spirituality and activism. It’s simply activity, deeds, or actions that come from the heart, not just the mind. It’s activity and activism that are compassionate, positive, kind, fierce, and transformative.
Sacred activism can be seen as the fusion of social change, politics, personal process, and spirituality. Being a sacred activist means becoming aware of common issues and engaging to be a « participant in systemic change. » Therefore, our goal is to provide the opportunity to understand why and what to engage in through a series of workshops and conferences that serve as a chance for introspection, empowering us to re-enchant our world.
